Ms. Beena Unnikrishnan

Head of the Department – English (Secondary)
A Post Graduate in English Language and Literature with B.Ed with more than 20 years experience in teaching. She began her career as a Lecturer in English in a private college in Kerala where she was handling Pre-degree and Degree classes. Later joined in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, at Ernakulam, Kerala where she worked as a Secondary and Higher Secondary teacher for 12 years.
She was the Co-Ordinator of the Rotary International Club in School, Co-Ordinator of Marrs International Spell Bee, Co-Ordinator of English Olympiad, various inter school spelling tests, English Literaure Quiz and all other literary competitions like Skit, Declamation, Debate, Shakespearean Fest. She has shown has prowess as the School Magazine Editor, writing Annual Reports, minutes of the meetings and Chinmaya Vision Programme Report (CVP Report).
Ms. Siva Priya Nambiar
(MSC, BEd in Mathematics)
Head of the Department – Mathematics
Siva Priya Nambiar is a dedicated Mathematics educator with over ten years of experience in teaching at a prominent CBSE school in the UAE. As the Head of the Mathematics Department, she specializes in creating innovative and effective instructional strategies that incorporate modern teaching techniques. Siva Priya is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to excel in Mathematics.

Ms. Parminder Kaur

Parminder Kaur is an experienced educator with a passion for teaching Hindi. With over 18 years of teaching experience and a solid educational background, including a B.A. and a B.Ed., she has dedicated 13 fruitful years in the UAE to shaping young minds in its vibrant cultural landscape.
Parminder has taught Hindi to students from diverse backgrounds, creating a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. She spent three years as a Hindi teacher at Al Ain Juniors School, six months at Grace Valley School in Al Ain, and has been teaching at Al Saad Indian School (Bhavans Al Ain) for the past 10 years. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Hindi Department at Al Saad Indian School.
Parminder believes learning should be exciting and inclusive. She uses creative activities and visual aids to help students understand Hindi better, enhancing their ability to remember and grasp concepts effectively.
Ms. Kavitha Chandran

Ms. Kavitha Chandran is a dedicated educator with a passion for fostering positive learning experiences. With a background in Malayalam literature and education, she strives to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential. Holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, a Master of Arts in Malayalam, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), she brings over 11 years of teaching experience to high school students—two years in India and over 10 years in the UAE, where she served as head of the Malayalam department. Her teaching philosophy revolves around personalized learning and student-centered instruction, aiming to create a supportive classroom community where every student feels valued and empowered to explore their interests and strengths.
Mr. Ahmed Abdalla

Ahmed Abdalla is a Graduate in French Literature and has a professional diploma in French Teaching methods. He also holds a Diploma of Education in French language. believes that language learning is a powerful tool for personal and intellectual growth. His student-centered classroom focuses on active engagement and practical communication skills, utilizing immersion techniques and technology to make learning French enjoyable and enriching. He uses formative assessments to guide his teaching and provide continuous feedback, helping students build confidence and proficiency. His goal is to instil a lifelong love for the French language and culture. As an educator, Ahmed is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice to ensure the best learning experience for his students, aiming to empower them to become proficient and enthusiastic French speakers.
Ms. Divya S Nair

Ms Divya S. Nair is a dedicated educator with over 9 years of experience. Since 2017, she has been a part of Al Saad Indian School in Al Ain as an English teacher. Holding a BA and B.Ed. in English, Divya is deeply passionate about teaching and has a proven track record of fostering academic excellence and holistic development in her students. She believes in nurturing a love for learning, fostering creativity, and developing critical thinking skills to empower every student. She held the role of Section Supervisor for primary grades for 3 years, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. Currently, she serves as the Junior Head of the English Department, where she continues to inspire and guide both students and colleagues with her expertise and enthusiasm for the subject.
Mr. Salman Faris
Head of the Department – Arabic Language
Salman Faris holds a Diploma in Language Education in Arabic from India and a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic (Afzal-ul-Ulama) from the University of Calicut, India. With 10 years of rich experience in teaching Arabic at the high and middle school levels, he has honed his proficiency in using technology to enhance learning, including online resources, educational apps, and multimedia tools.
Salman is passionate about literature from various cultures and periods, with a particular interest in contemporary fiction and postcolonial literature. He possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, he stays abreast of current trends and research in education and language teaching.
Ms. Iram Sehrish
Head of the Department – Science
Iram Sehrish is the Head of the Science Department and is an integral part of the school from April 2022. Iram is a passionate and inspiring educator with a career spanning over a decade in teaching Science. Before her current role, Iram worked in various roles within Indian schools, including as a teacher and Lecturer.
Iram holds a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s in Education from India.
Iram’s teaching philosophy centers on empowering students through 21st-century skills. She believes in creating an engaging learning environment that fosters a connection between classroom knowledge and real-world applications.
Ms. Suneetha Manoj Kumar
Head of the Department -Commerce and humanities
Suneetha Manojkumar is a dedicated educator with over 18 years of experience teaching Economics and Social Science in both India and the UAE. As the Head of the Department of Humanities & Commerce, she oversees the academic operations within her department and contributes to the overall improvement of her school. Her commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment has helped countless students explore their potential and achieve academic success. Passionate about holistic student development, Suneetha believes education extends beyond the classroom. She actively engages in professional training, maintains memberships in educator communities, and continuously pursues certifications in the latest educational trends. Ms. Priyanka Haridas

Head of the Department – Computer Science
She has completed her MTech in Computer Networking from Anna University, Chennai, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology. Beginning her career as a teacher at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Al Saad Indian School, she has accumulated nine successful years. In addition to her master’s degree, she has completed the Cisco Certified Network Associate course and authored a paper titled “Enhanced approach for enabling energy efficiency in rendezvous-based wireless sensor networks,” published in the science journal IJARTET. She has also presented this paper at various national and international conferences.
Her teaching philosophy revolves around cultivating a passion for the subject among her students. She believes in establishing a classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and are encouraged to engage in critical thinking. She is a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated educator who strives for the success of all her students as learners
She has published own paper in the Science Journal IJARTET. She has also handled several projects on Wireless Sensor Network, Natural Language Processor & Community Website designing for alumni. An amiable personality with a strong sense of duty – she believes that performance is the key indicator of effectiveness.
Mr. Vinod Pushpakaran

Head of the Department – Sports
Vinod PUSHPAKARAN ( B Sc, B P ED) began showcasing his talents in sports at the age of 14, representing the Kerala School team in the National Athletic meet. In 2001, he represented Kerala State in the Junior National Athletic Meet held in Bangalore and won a silver medal in the Kerala State Open Cross Country 4 KM Team Championship. He represented M.G. University in the All India Inter University Cross Country Championship for four consecutive years (2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005) and was a gold medalist in the M.G. University Cross Country 12 KM Team Championship in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
Vinod P began his teaching career at St. Peter’s School Ernakulam in 2006 and joined Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra in 2008. During his tenure, Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya hosted the CBSE National Badminton Tournament and CBSE Cluster Table Tennis Tournament in 2011. He trained students for the CBSE Clusters and National Athletic Meet, where they won gold, silver, and bronze medals for six consecutive years. He has been part of the Bhavans Al Ain family ever since 2014.

ASIDA SALIM is a dedicated special education professional who believes that all students are capable of learning. She advocates for using various teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learners. She firmly believes that every child should be treated equally, regardless of background, race, economic status, or disability, emphasizing the importance of societal roles in supporting students’ goals and fostering a harmonious, discrimination-free community.
Her educational qualifications include a B.Ed in Special Education (ID) with 95%, an MA in Sociology with 66%, and a BSc in Physics with 72%. Her accomplishments include registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India and passing the Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test-II.
Ms. Adeeba Afreen

As a dedicated school counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Organizational Behavior and a Bachelor’s in Education, she has three years of professional experience, including one year at Asis, Al Ain, and two years at a CBSE school in India. Her approach is rooted in the belief that each student deserves a supportive and nurturing environment to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
