Having played various roles as a thought leader, a keen analyst, a thorough administrator, Mr. Ramachandran Menon is spearheading Bhavan’s Middle East expansion in Education and ICT. As a man of principles and values, Mr. Ramachandran Menon shows exemplary enthusiasm to be innovative in providing value based quality education. His visions, ideals, and experience are the real prime movers of IES and other Bhavans Kendras in Middle East.

Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran is spearheading the group middle east expansion and initiatives of the group especially initiatives to launch pre schools which will function as feeder schools to all the Bhavans schools in the Middle East in the future as well as initiatives to start programmes for student training for distance and higher education, professional courses and special education. Programmes for teacher training are also part of future plans. A Chartered Accountant by profession with his practice based out of India, Sooraj did his initial six years of his schooling in Indian School Kuwait and the later six years in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Elamakara in Cochin, Kerala. Sooraj, who is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast, has represented his school and college teams in Cricket, Football and various Track and Field events. Presently, Sooraj stays in Abu Dhabi with his wife Vineetha who is a Doctor and their 6 year old son who is studying in Bhavans, Abu Dhabi and their daughter.

Prior to joining BIERAT, he was on the teaching faculty of Christ University (Bangalore) and Rajagiri College (Cochin) where he organized and facilitated training programmes for academicians across the educational spectrum. Learning through networking is his passion and that motivated him to organize capacity- building programmes for varied groups involving eminent personalities whose contributions have significantly influenced India’s national and economic progress.

In the field of Journalism & Public Relations his contributions have been effective and he had the opportunity to interact with renowned personalities like Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, Mr. H. D. Deve Gowda, former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Veerappa Moily, Union Minister of India, Mr. Salman Khurshid, Union Minister of India, Mr. Sachin Plot, Union Minister of India, former Union Ministers Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar and Mr. Yashwant Sinha and Mr. T. K. A. Nair, Advisor to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, among others.

Besides this he has attended and made presentations in a number of national and international conferences and has authored articles on various aspects of education.
